CARE TO CHANGE VIDEO COMPETITION PRIZES

Enter the United Way Care to Change Video Competition for your chance to win fantastic prizes.

Prize winners will receive exposure of their videos on United Way’s online channels; select winners will also gain exposure through Broadband TV’s Viso Give Channel and the Vancouver International Film Festival, as part of the Reel Youth film tour.

Videos will be uploaded to the www.caretochange.ca homepage for public voting to determine the Viewer’s Choice Award. Public online voting will take place in August 2011. You’ll want to work your networks to make sure your video gets lots of exposure. Check back in August for more details on the Viewer’s Choice Award and online voting.

All other winners will be determined by our expert judging panel, chaired by Emmy award judge and FanTrust President, Catherine Warren.

CONTEST PRIZES

The following are the prizes that will be awarded in the Contest in accordance with these Rules (together, the “Prizes”, and each a “Prize”):

1. Adult winner
   One Canon® EOS 5D Mark II camera with EF 24-105 f/4L kit (retail value approx. $3,500) for the winner in this category.
2. Youth winner
   One New Apple® MacBook Pro®, 13 (retail value approx. $1,400); plus a screening of your winning video at the Vancouver International Film Festival as part of the Reel Youth film tour, for the winner in this category.
3. Adult runner up
   One Apple® iPad® 32gb model (retail value approx. $700) for the winner in this category.
4. Youth runner up
   One Apple® iPad® 32gb model (retail value approx. $700); plus a screening of your winning video at the Vancouver International Film Festival as part of the Reel Youth film tour, for the winner in this category.
5. Viewers Choice Award
   One Apple® iPad® 32gb model (retail value approx. $700) for the winner of this category.
6. Adult and Youth third prize
   One $400 Future Shop® voucher, for use at any Future Shop® retail store located in British Columbia, for each of the Adult third prize winner and the Youth third prize winner.
7. Special Mention prizes
   One $100 Future Shop® voucher, for use at any Future Shop® retail store located in British Columbia, for up to six winners of special mention categories, to be determined in the sole discretion of the judging panel.
